Mental Health Support

Mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being. DWA recognises that good mental health will lead to a resilient student who will go on to be a resilient RVN. Time is taken to support self-care, which is achieved by a variety of methods, including resilience building and structured self-care studies.

All the team are mental health first aid trained and will support you if necessary. Don't be afraid to reach out for help if you're struggling with your mental health.

Physical Health and Wellness

Physical health is also crucial for overall well-being. Eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep, and exercising regularly are all important habits to cultivate. DWA learners complete programmes in Resilience, Kindness and Support and receive check-ins with their designated visiting officer during learner reviews, which are held every 8 weeks.

Financial Wellness

Financial stress can have a significant impact on mental health and overall well-being. If you're feeling overwhelmed by your finances, it's important to take steps to address the issue. Again, DWA provides information and guidance (IAG) on these aspects and has a range of resources to support you.
